Your summer holidays with us are an unforgettable experience, as South Tyrol and especially the Sciliar region/Schlerngebiet has so much on offer for you to experience and discover.
You’ll find numerous hiking trails to suit all levels of difficulty on the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm as well as in the surrounding towns of Castelrotto/Kastelruth , Siusi allo Sciliar/Seis am Schlern, Fiè allo Sciliar/Völs am Schlern and Tires/Tiers in the Catinaccio region, as well as in the Val Gardena, ranging from a pleasant walk to a demanding hike and climbing tour.
Those mountain biking in South Tyrol in the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm holiday region can choose between easy and moderately difficult cycling tours, or those requiring a great deal of physical stamina and biking expertise. Short cycling tours, day tours or a multi-day tour ensure fantastic views. The Val Gardena-Alpe di Siusi/Gröden-Seiser Alm Bike Region offers you a total of 33 routes to explore on your mountain bike. (www.seiseralm.it under mountain bike/cycling tours).
Conversely, 20 signposted running trails await you in the Running Park Alpe di Siusi! (www.seiseralm.it under running/half-marathon/running tours).
Bathing enjoyment shouldn’t be neglected either, of course. Not too far away from us is the Telfen open air pool with a large swimming pool and excellent paddling pools for the little ones. A little above Fiè allo Sciliar/Völs am Schlern, approximately 8 kilometres away from us, is the Fiè Pond/Völser Weiher, a natural bathing pond, one of the most beautiful bathing ponds in South Tyrol.
The courageous amongst you can book a tandem flight with a paraglider on the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm. The landing place is in a small meadow not far from our house.
Horse lovers get their money’s worth in the Sciliar region as well. Castelrotto has a riding school offering courses for beginners as well as pleasant rides for the experienced.
The Golfclub San Vigilio Siusi invites golf players to an exciting round of golf. The golf course is located a little below Siusi allo Sciliar at 850 m above sea level and is open from April until November. (www.golfstvigilseis.it).
